Wedding Photography Logo | Gabrielle Marks Photography

April 27th, 2010

A bit behind on my blogging and completed designs are stacking up in my ‘to blog’ folder!

I thought I’d start with something more recently completed, a simple and elegant logo for wedding photographer Gabrielle Marks and her husband Matt. Nice, fluid hand-drawn lettering is the perfect complement to the clean and simple type.

Logo and Branding for Photographers | Studio 64 Photography

March 30th, 2010

Sharing a new branding package I created for LeAnn over at Studio 64. I used a fresh and modern color combination of teal and golden yellow, accented with chocolate browm. In addition to the custom logo design, which features a hand drawn leaf motif, I created a PDF pricing sheet and business card design, both which feature a pattern created with the studio’s leaf mark.

Life’s Moments | Custom Photography Logos

March 9th, 2010

I love the simple zen feeling from this logo, I think it fits Kysa of Life’s Moments Photography just perfectly (and I can say that since I got to meet her and photograph her maternity session back in January!). I don’t normally like to do logos with more than a couple colors, but the monochromatic blues really work, and will still translate well to one color. Enjoy Kysa!

Chi Photography | Professional Photography Logo

March 8th, 2010

Sharing a whimsical yet clean logo design created for Chi Photography. Chi’s previous logo had a more complex butterfly in it that wasn’t working for her, but she wanted to keep the butterfly somehow in her logo. A silhouette worked perfectly!

Home Fires | Logo for Boudoir Photography

February 11th, 2010

When Gina contacted me and told me the name of her boudoir photography business, Home Fires Boudoir, I knew I had to work on her logo. I love creating graphics with a play on words. Gina is a military wife who just moved to Honolulu, so she knows the importance of keeping those ‘home fires’ burning when your loved one is abroad. And of course, we used Red, White and Blue!

Thank you Gina, I know you are going to rock boudoir in Hawaii!

Nicole Davidson | Creative Custom Logos for Photographers

January 20th, 2010

Sharing another custom logo created for Nicole Davidson Photography. I love when there is a meaning behind a graphic used in a logo, especially when the business is so personal like photography. The orchid I drew here is based off a large and beautiful tattoo that Nicole has on her. I used the blue and purple colors for the flower similar to her tattoo and then created an initial script ‘n’ for the stem.

Biskar Photography | Photographer’s Logo Design

January 19th, 2010

Been very busy designing lately and ready to share another logo created last month for Annie at Biskar Photography. Annie came to me with a color palette in mind – love the pop of yellow! Perfect for the fun and modern ‘artsy’ logo she had in mind :)

Studio Erotas | Boudoir Photography Logo

January 18th, 2010

So behind on sharing many of the fabulous new logos I’ve created! This one is for Darrin, from Studio Erotas. You might remember the logo and complete branding package I created for Darrin’s main portrait studio at the end of 2008. I love working with previous clients and was excited to create something sleek and sexy for Darrin’s new studio branch.  The silhouette of a woman was hand drawn and paired with a curvy font to complete the look!

Creative Images & Co. | Wedding Photography Logo

November 30th, 2009

This logo was created for Tammy K over at Creative Images by Tammy for her upcoming wedding photography venture with a new shooter, her son Derrek. The logo gives a nod toward her current studio with the name for consistency, and also incorporates this new branch with the ampersand mark. Best of all, Tammy can turn the mark her signature wedding pink and Derrek can use blue for a splash of color. A classic look with a contemporary twist. Thanks Tammy and Derrek!

{top} Notch | Branded

November 18th, 2009

I’m excited to share one of my personal favorite brands I’ve had the pleasure of designing. Top Notch. A Notch above the rest. Haha I love wordplay, I know I’m a dork. But seriously, how cool is this logo and branding package designed for Ryan Notch? I’m excited to see his updated website…I love stepping away from the icons/graphics/marks and focusing totally on typography. Clean, Modern, Timeless (and I think a little clever!). Thanks Ryan!

Artistic Logo | Fine Art Photography Logo

October 6th, 2009

Launching a new logo for La, for her smartly titled fine art photography business, Art in Fact. When La came to me, she thought she wanted something ‘grungy’ but we cleaned that up a bit with an earthtoned flourish. The type treatment for this logo was completely hand drawn, so its completely unique to Art in Fact. Thanks La!
