Here in Boston today its sunny, blue skies and warmish, and its making me very excited for Spring! I know it seems like a long way off, but I want to give a heads up for projects slated for Spring/Summer. I am currently booking for one last April project and then will be moving on to booking for May. I am very lucky to be going on trip with my family in June so I will not be booking any clients for June. So if you are thinking about a branding overhaul, contact me to reserve your project before too long! :)
When Gina contacted me and told me the name of her boudoir photography business, Home Fires Boudoir, I knew I had to work on her logo. I love creating graphics with a play on words. Gina is a military wife who just moved to Honolulu, so she knows the importance of keeping those ‘home fires’ burning when your loved one is abroad. And of course, we used Red, White and Blue!
Thank you Gina, I know you are going to rock boudoir in Hawaii!

In need of a professional looking logo but custom isn’t in the cards right now? Perhaps logo adoption is right for you!
Logos available for adoption are concepts that my identity clients decided weren’t a good match for them, and you know how the saying goes…
Our pre-designed logos are value priced at $150 and include a name change and color change. Hand drawn initial marks come as is (noted on a case by case basis). No other revisions are available. Final files delivered to you include the original .AI vector file and a layered .PSD file . Each logo design will only be sold once, so don’t delay!
Just a handful of the designs available…

Unveiling a logo I designed for Lizney Sievert Photography. Clean and modern yet graphically interesting – a lovely high end photography logo. I know Lizney will take it far!

Sharing another custom logo created for Nicole Davidson Photography. I love when there is a meaning behind a graphic used in a logo, especially when the business is so personal like photography. The orchid I drew here is based off a large and beautiful tattoo that Nicole has on her. I used the blue and purple colors for the flower similar to her tattoo and then created an initial script ‘n’ for the stem.

Been very busy designing lately and ready to share another logo created last month for Annie at Biskar Photography. Annie came to me with a color palette in mind – love the pop of yellow! Perfect for the fun and modern ‘artsy’ logo she had in mind :)

So behind on sharing many of the fabulous new logos I’ve created! This one is for Darrin, from Studio Erotas. You might remember the logo and complete branding package I created for Darrin’s main portrait studio at the end of 2008. I love working with previous clients and was excited to create something sleek and sexy for Darrin’s new studio branch. The silhouette of a woman was hand drawn and paired with a curvy font to complete the look!

Just an update on our custom logo design, we are currently booked for January and February 2010. I am booking for March projects right now. If you’d like to get in at 2009 pricing, be sure to contact me THIS WEEK. Our 2010 rates will be put into effect next week, or after all four March spots have been booked, whichever happens first. One of my goals in 2010 is to keep my project list shorter and smarter so there is less of a wait time for all my clients, so expect some changes around here. THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients!!
Sharing the logo with an abstract flower I created last month for Mariana- though I can’t read most of her blog, I love looking at the images :) Thanks Mariana!
