2008 Holiday Trifold

Thanks to a certain someone who kept bugging me about this ;) I’m happy to unveil a modern trifold design that coordinates with my 2008 Hello Holiday and Contemporary Christmas Collections!

The cool thing about this trifold is the inside was designed as one spread, and I took full advantage of that, creating a panaorma-type layout. Perfect for clients that want to showcase a big session, or for your own business holiday cards, there is room for 7 photos on here as is, or add more in the colored boxes.

To purchase, please visit the shopping site under holiday cards.

Leah - yah! Thanks

Brittney Mc - I used a modified version of this for my personal christmas card this year– I just got it in, and ohhhh I love it! Thanks for the great design.

New Look!!

I am SO excited to finally have a look that says *me*. You might have to purge your cache, but you should be seeing a sweet new logo up top! A few new surprises coming soon…

Update on custom designs – November is nearly full. If you are thinking about a new look, book soon to lock in 2008 pricing.

Over the Labor Day weekend while people are out having fun…I will be moving. From a 3rd floor walk-up to a 3rd floor walk-up. I’m at the mercy of Comcast when I will have internet, so bear with me and hopefully I’ll be connected again soon!

All emails and any templates purchased will be sent out ASAP when I’m back online :)

R-LR, Branding Design

Well I’m back from the Cape, rested and relaxed (no internet for 3 whole days?? oh my!) and ready to show off some goods. Remember the logo a blogged a bit ago for Rebecca-Linh Rogers? I have created a complete branding set for her, with a “sleek meets Anthropologie” feel. I love that constrast with the dark and light…enjoy your new look Rebecca-Linh!

Mimi - I absolutely LOVE this, Taz!! The colors, the font, everything! I can’t wait to work on my design with you.

Logo: Leslie Brown Photography

Isn’t it cool that Leslie’s initials form into a heart? Leslie wanted to use her initials, but attach them in a unique way, and we’ve done just that. Love using pink in a logo as well. I’ll be creating a blog header for her also, so stay tuned for Leslie’s new blog.

Building on a brand

Modern is the new black. I just love the clean sleek lines in this design, inspired by the logo that Becky of Abernathy Photographics came to me with. By pulling in a lemon-lime to pop her existing colors, a great branding color scheme was born! I designed letterhead, a business card, and a note card to coordinate the look.

Thanks Becky!

Heather - Ah, Becky’s stuff looks fabulous!!! Her work rocks! (Hi Becky!!)

lroah - These look awesome!

Becky - YEAY!!! You’re AWESOME Taz…i absolutely LOVE it all, and you were so great to work with. thanks again!

2008 Holiday Cards are HERE!

I’m so excited to introduce two new collections, “Contemporary Christmas” and “Hello Holidays”. In typical Designs by Taz fashion, these card templates are fresh, colorful and will showcase your photography beautifully.

Each collection features 10 designs. “Contemporary Christmas” has 10 front designs, and “Hello Holidays” has 5 fronts and 5 insides, perfect for those press printed products. Templates are .PSD files for 5×7 cards (created on WHCC’s press print guides). All colors, text and elements are fully editable. As always, you must be able to open and edit .psd files. Due to the digital nature of this product, there are absolutely no refunds. Each collection is $50 and payment can be sent to

Check out some closeups :)

Just a friendly reminder – these templates are for limited commercial or personal use. Professional photographers may create custom items for their clients using your own photography and have them printed or give a flattened jpeg. It is against the Terms of Use to sell these designs on Ebay, Etsy, or other auction sites as printed items for the general public or otherwise. And of course, do not resell, share or otherwise give an electronic copy to anyone.

rebecca-linh rodgers - those are all so darling!

Just a heads up, I’ll be out of the office next weekend – taking off for a 3 day weekend on the Cape. All current clients will have concepts or final files in their hands Friday afternoon. I’ll answer all emails Tuesday when I return :)

Holiday Cards Debut Soon!

I am busy finishing up my 2008 holiday card collections, but I had to show a sample of what I’ve been working on because I am IN LOVE with the fresh colors. I’m also designing matching phrases for some of the collection to coordinate the look for press printed cards. These will officially be for sale here on the blog next week, so stay tuned!

Trifold Design

Some of you may remember the logo and brand package I created last year for Kami Laux.

I’ve just finished a 5×5 trifold to coordinate with her look, tying in a damask pattern that matches her packaging materials. Its not pictured here but a matching 5×5 insert was also created that lists her policies, a perfect way to present that necessary “fine print”.

Thanks Kami :)

Laura Veraska - ohhhh…very nice

Kami Laux - Thanks again Taz! I LOVE it and my clients do to. You are the best!!!

Logo: Rebecca-Linh Rodgers Photographer

Introducing a new logo for Rebecca at Rebecca-Linh Rodgers Photographer, better known as R-LR. Just part of a new branding package to come. I love the yellow- its fresh and fierce at the same time!

Janica - Oh, I LOVE it! Fresh and fierce…just like the r-lr herself. :) Great job, Taz!

Leah - love the color block, great work Taz
