I’m Back!

I’m back from vacation and ready to get designing! I have a few thousand emails to go through (ha!), but I hope to answer all inquires within 24 hours. If you emailed me over the past few weeks and I have not responded by tomorrow, please email me again!

I will be working on all open projects starting today, and will start July concepts as planned. I’m currently accepting new clients for August and beyond. Thank you!

Out of Office

Thanks for stopping by! Just a note to let you know I’ll be out of the office thru June 24th. If you are interested in joining the queue (now booking for August) you can send a $100 deposit to Taslim@bringtolightphotography.com and I will follow up with you upon my return. The queue will be based on the order in which the deposit was received.

As always, the design store will remain open as you can download your files directly from your account.

Queue Update | Branding and Logo Design for Photographers

Here in Boston today its sunny, blue skies and warmish, and its making me very excited for Spring! I know it seems like a long way off, but I want to give a heads up for projects slated for Spring/Summer. I am currently booking for one last April project and then will be moving on to booking for May. I am very lucky to be going on trip with my family in June so I will not be booking any clients for June. So if you are thinking about a branding overhaul, contact me to reserve your project before too long! :)

Call for Boudoir Images

Have you shot an awesome boudoir session? I am looking for a full set of boudoir images for a new design I am working on… ideally I need 30+ images from one session.

If you have a session you think might work, email me a contact sheet and let’s talk. You of course will receive photo credit and be compensated with design goodies :)

Holiday Hours

Its that time of year again, though I’ve been so busy lately its hard to get into the holiday spirit! Just a not about our holiday closings for the remainder of the year:

Dec 23rd-26th: Studio Closed

Dec 31st and Jan 1st: Studio Closed

All emails and inquires will be answered when the studio is open, and of course the shop remains open even when I’m not around :)

Queue Update

Just an update on our custom logo design, we are currently booked for January and February 2010. I am booking for March projects right now. If you’d like to get in at 2009 pricing, be sure to contact me THIS WEEK. Our 2010 rates will be put into effect next week, or after all four March spots have been booked, whichever happens first. One of my goals in 2010 is to keep my project list shorter and smarter so there is less of a wait time for all my clients, so expect some changes around here. THANK YOU to all my wonderful clients!!

Because I like turkey…

Just a holiday update. I will be out of the office Thursday for Thanksgiving and probably in a tryptophan-induced nap on Friday ;) All emails and inquires will be answered on Monday. Thanks everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

Queue Update & Holiday Card Alert

Just a quick update, I have just a few openings in September and then I will start booking into October. If you want to rebrand yourself for next year, the time to start thinking about that is now!

And yes, I am working on my holiday card templates for photographers :) I will be releasing these in July, so keep your eyes peeled or sign up for my newsletter and receive a notification when they are available.

Upcoming Vacation

Just a heads up – I will be out of the office June 11th-16th for a much needed vacation :) I plan to be away from my computer as much as possible, though I will have limited access to email. Clients, expect an email from me before Wednesday with concept or revision updates!

Call for Images UPDATE

Just a note to all – based on the response I’ve already gotten – this is going to be a hard decision! I am going to hold out until at least Friday though to give everyone time to gather their best :) I may not be able to respond to each person individually – so a big groun THANK YOU for your contributions here on the blog!A contact sheet is the preferred method for sending a sample of your images. Faster than digging through slideshows and blogs.I will open this up to boudoir sessions also (with your clients permission of course). I won’t need as many images from a boudoir session, probably just 12-20.

Call for Images. Earn FREE templates!

Hi everyone! I’m working on a new project and need some nice images that aren’t mine ;) If you have a great newborn session, child session or E session/ wedding in mind (I can use any/all)  * I will need a set of 20-30 images from the same session. These can be in studio or on location (or a mix).  *Email me (TaslimSidi@gmail.com) a little contact sheet or sample and your info. If your images will work – I will contact you and work out the details on getting the full res images from you.  The best part – the photographer will get my new product FREE if I use their images and I’ll give you full props on my blog and site!  I’d like to wrap this up within the week, so drop me a note if you have some killer images to show off!

Price Adjustment

Just a quick note to let you know that 2009 pricing has been posted, and there are a few changes. Clients that are in my queue and have their deposit in are locked in at 2008 rates. The biggest change was to the Kit n Caboodle package, I exchanged some items to include my most requested pieces.A few additions to my offerings include custom splash pages and favicons.
